I don't get it but all over the internet and even my local college people vaguely seem to consider Indian a bad trait and use it as an insult, like being short, fat, or weak for example. Apparently they have poor genetics for bodybuilding/athletics, generally have poor facial aesthetics and not many non Indian girls will date them, and also stupid things like "they smell bad".
For example I was at college and these two guys were arguing, one was Indian and when he left the other said "He can talk, he's 5'8 and Indian".
This guy even had to make a video about it because so many people talk bad about being Indian:
